Of course I stand by my comments. Tilton needs to go. We need someone who believes in this airline, not just there for a windfall at any cost to employee welfare. I despise the man as most employees do. I remember a proud airline.

I'm a 20+ year mechanic. I love to see my airplane I worked on the night before take off and fly because of something I fixed!

Morale is low, for the most part mech's don't care if the airplane goes out or not. We have no parts anyway, all outsoursed. When we do it's not surprising to go thru 2-3 new units to find one that works. Kinda makes it hell on troubleshooting.

I can understand the pilots about having an engine out. Thankfully they are trained for that and it ended safely. I believe they were all guppies and who overhauls those engines? Not UAL.

I don't even want to think about an air disaster but it is coming, take my word for it.

Well just blowin steam and it's not helping.

Richard - Thanks for you comment. It seems to me that Mr. Tilton has not treated his employees with respect. Do you find this to be true?

Being a UAL A&P for 21+ years I'm confident the mechanics would like to see Tilton gone as much as any employee group. I don't understand why all of our unions are not working together in a type of coalition to get rid of this bozo. Somebody please explain. The different unions have never been 'united' together for anything. If we were to do so, there lies the true strength.
