A vacation to Vietnam is incomplete if you don’t visit Mui Ne. Mui Ne is a small city on the edge of the South China Sea and is about 200 km from the capital of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City. This coastal city in southeastern Vietnam is increasingly popular as a tourist destination for tourists. Apart from the beautiful scenery of its beaches, Mui Ne has its own charm, which is a vast desert. You don’t need to go far to Arab countries to enjoy the desert. Even visiting Mui Ne can give you the sensation of a double experience because the landscape is very contrasting, one side of the city is flanked by beaches and oceans while one side is in the form of hills and deserts.
To reach Mui Ne, you can use a travel bus from Ho Chi Minh City. Bus tickets can be purchased at the hotel where you stay at a cost of 250 thousand VND Travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne is about 5 hours. There are two ways to surround this beautiful city. First, you can take a jeep tour at a cost of around USD 25 per 5 hours including the driver. Most organizers of jeep tour packages have collaborated with danang hotels, so if you want to take a jeep tour, you can stay in touch with the Premier Village resort.
The second way and this is more recommended, you can rent a motorcycle. Usually every hotel must provide a rented motorcycle with a tariff of around VND 150 thousand per day, including 1 liter of gasoline. This method is cheaper and gives more opportunities to explore Mui Ne to his heart’s content.
Adventure around Mui Ne can be done in a day. Start early in the morning if you want to enjoy the view of the sunrise. Most hotels and resorts in Mui Ne are built on the beach, all you have to do is walk out of your room and enjoy the beautiful sunrise. You can also visit the fishing village and watch fish trading activities.
Satisfied with enjoying the sunshine and visiting a fishing village, continue towards Red Sand Dunes which is a desert with red sand grains. Red Sand Dunes is about 5 kilometers from the Mui Ne traditional market. Tourists who visit Red Sand Dunes are free of charge. The view here is very unique because in the reddish-colored sand, in the distance you can see the beach and the blue water. Here you can also play sand skate by renting a surfboard.
Satisfied playing sand in the Red Sand Dunes, it’s time to continue the adventure to a more beautiful desert, the White Sand Dunes. In contrast to Red Sand Dunes whose sand is reddish, the sand in White Sand Dunes is really clean and soft white. The location is about 25 kilometers from the Red Sand Dunes.
With an entrance ticket of 15,000 VND, White Sand Dunes truly offers the sensation of being in a real desert. Deserts form mounds and stretches of sand that form beautiful patterns because of the wind, this place is truly a beautiful location for taking photos. Not only that, there is also a lake with blue water whose edges are covered with a lotus. You can also rent a jeep and surround the vast desert.
In the afternoon after returning from White Sand Dunes to Mui Ne, head to Fairy Stream in downtown Mui Ne. Fairy Stream is a small river flow, but on either side there is a sand cliff with a mixture of red and white forming a very beautiful formation. To enter Fairy Stream, tourists are free of charge. The sensation of going along the river with views of colorful sand cliffs combined with green trees and breezes is really fun.
Returning from Fairy Stream, don’t forget to go on a culinary tour in the Boke area on the Nguyen Dinh Chieu road. Along this area, there are restaurants that serve fresh sea food. Uniquely, you can choose shrimp, squid, clams, and other seafood that is still raw and fresh to be cooked by the chef.
Restaurants in the Boke area are more lively at night. Many tourists and visitors come to taste fresh Vietnamese food, of course with a slightly sloping price because it is obtained directly from fishermen Mui Ne. With a full stomach, you can return to the hotel and end a day of adventure along the beautiful and exotic Mui Ne.…
